Tindora(ivy gourd) has a lot of health benefits, it is rich in fiber, B vitamins, and iron, and may help relieve occasional constipation and normalize blood sugar. It is good for diabetic patients.

How to choose Kovakkai:

  1. Choose the thin tindoras, not the fat ones. It should be dark green, not light green
  2. always use the ones which are tender. Avoid using ivy gourds that have become ripe & dark red.
