Falafel recipe, Felafel or Falafel is a Crispy and delicious Middle Eastern Snacks made with Chickpeas and some flavourful spices. In the Middle East, Falafel stands are on every street corner, eaten with Lebanese Pita bread, Hummus, tahini sauce, and pickles and salad. I made these a few days later after making the Unnakaya. I made all the versions of Falafel, Baked, Air Fried and fried in oil. I just loved it, Air Fried. Making the Falafel is a bit of Time Consuming. Soaking the chickpeas and fava beans, then mixing in the herbs, onions, and garlic but it was worth it. Do check the Fattoush Salad Recipe. Vegan 🌱and Vegetarian-friendly! Falafels are a great meat replacement and protein-rich. I love falafels and they are so quick and easy to make. These Falafels are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We can make the most satisfying vegan sandwich out of these delicious Falafel. There are various ways of making Falafel this is one quick method of making Falafel with chickpeas.
The fried Falafel has to be eaten when they are hot or warm. They go well with any sweet or spicy chutney. Even tomato sauce. I am not so fond of Lebanese food But sometimes I wanna give a try to Shawarma and few of the Meditariean dishes. I want to try them at home. Anything makes at home is simply delicious.

- 1 cup of dried chickpeas (aka Garbanzo beans)
- 1 cup of parsley (chop away the stems)
- 3 cloves of freshly peeled garlic, crushed
- 1 Medium-sized onion
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of cornflour
- ⅓ teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 3 teaspoons of Coriander seeds
- Soak 1 cup of dried chickpeas in water overnight.
- rinse and dry the chickpeas, garlic, red onions, parsley, salt, and baking soda in the food processor and run for a couple of minutes until they turn into a paste.
- Transfer it to a bowl and add 2 tbsp of cornflour and mix well to make a tight dough.
- scoop it in a felafel maker or simply make balls and keep aside.
- Frying the Felafel. Heat oil in Kadai Gently drops the falafel into the hot oil. Fry for a few minutes until the falafel turns brownish then them out on a paper town or in a colander and to dry out the extra oil.
- Baking the Falafel. For the health-conscious, you can scoop then layer the falafel patties on an aluminum/cooking tray that has been lightly oiled and bake in the oven at 180-degree Celcius for 7-10 minutes.
- Felafel in Fir Fryer. Arrange the Felafel in Air fryer basket and air fry for 10 mins at 200 degrees.
- Baked, fried, Air Fried Falafels are ready to serve.
- Serve hot Felafel with a dip/sauce.

How to make Falafel in 3 ways, fried, baked & Air Fried
Preparing the Falafel Mix

3. Transfer it to a bowl and add 2 tbsp of cornflour and mix well to make a tight dough.
4. scoop it in a felafel maker or simply make balls and keep aside.
5. Frying the Felafel. Heat oil in Kadai Gently drops the felafel into the hot oil. Fry for a few minutes until the falafel turns brownish then them out on a paper town or in a colander and to dry out the extra oil.
