Vegetable Noodles Recipe or Easy Vegetable Noodles Recipe, Steamed Noodles Tossed with Shredded Vegetables.An Easy Indo Chinese Stir Fried Noodles with loads of Vegetables. Simple Vegetable Fried rice is the post i made Indo Chinese Cuisine after that i keep postponing to make. Kids love this wok fried noodles and healthy way of preparing noodles. I made this many times for kids party but never clicked. This time i made it for blog post and took video.
While i was in India i use to go Wang’s Kitchen my fav restaurant. There i can get a nice Chinese Noodles and Fried Rice after that i didn’t taste any where such tasty Veg Noodles Anywhere. Even though there are many places are there in Sg and Kl but i would love to have Veg Noodles in Wan’s Kitchen. Then Decided to make Vegetable Noodles in my own kitchen. Though hubby is not interested in Chinese food but i will make Noodles and Fried rice without sauce or less sauce.
Before making the Vegetable Noodles remember few things, Do and Don’t While making Vegetable Noodles,
- Cooking the Noodles is very important, Should not over cooked allow to cook the noodles till they are just soft. Once the noodles are cooked well, drain them in a colander or sieve.
then rinse the noodles in fresh water by placing the colander or sieve under fresh tap water.
drain & keep aside. This step helps to stop cooking the noodles further. - Julian cut the Vegetables and also don’t over cook the vegetables. Keep the flame in high while tossing the vegetables so that we get the smoky flavor of the vegetables.
- Sauces like chilly sauce, soy sauce, ketchup can be normally used to make Vegetable Noodles. again it’s up to you. If love soy sauce you add other wise simply make it. I love to add dark Soy sauce to my noodles don’t bother if it changes the noodles to brown colour. If you want to make White colour noodles then skip dark soy sauce use light soy sauce.
- I skip adding ajjnamoto, if you want to add try it. It enhance the taste.
- Use white pepper instead black pepper, that gives you Chinese touch at the end.
Step By Step Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe:
prepare the veggies Julian cut everything and make ready to make Noodles. Heat enough water in a pan with salt and few drops of oil.
when the water comes to a boil, add the noodles. allow to cook the noodles till they are just soft. Don’t over cook it will turn mushy.
once the noodles are cooked well, drain them in a colander or sieve. then rinse the noodles in fresh water by placing the colander or sieve under fresh tap water. drain & keep aside.
heat oil in a wok or pan. first add the chopped garlic onion saute well.increase the flame to high & add the chopped spring onions.keep on stirring continuously and stir fry the onions till they become translucent. add the veggies – carrots, capsicum.continue to toss & stir fry on a high flame till the veggies are almost cooked. add the soy sauce, salt and pepper. stir and then add the noodles.
keep on tossing and stirring till the veggies are mixed well with the noodles for minute or two. switch off the fire.
check the taste and add more salt. Add pepper powder toss and serve the vegetable noodles with your favorite side dish or as it is. You can also serve the noodles with Gobi Manchurian or veg Manchurian.
Vegetable Noodles Recipe, Indo Chinese Style Noodles Recipe Below:
- 100 g Chinese noodles(eggless)
- 1 medium carrot, julian cut
- 2-3 medium spring onions, finely chopped
- 8-10 french beans, thinly sliced diagonally or finely chopped(optional)
- 1 small to medium capsicum/green bell pepper, Julianned or finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 to 2 tsp soy sauce or as required
- 2 tbsp oil
- freshly powdered black pepper as required
- salt
- Prepare the veggies.cut everything and make ready to make Noodles

- when the water comes to a boil, add the noodles. allow to cook the noodles till they are just soft.

- first add the garlic and stir fry on medium flame.
- increase the flame to high & add the chopped spring onions.
- keep on stirring continuously and stir fry the onions till they become translucent.
- add the veggies - carrots, capsicum.
- continue to toss & stir fry on a high flame till the veggies are almost cooked.
- don't cook the vegetables till they become completely soft.
- add the soy sauce, salt and pepper. stir and then add the noodles.
- keep on tossing and stirring till the veggies are mixed well with the noodles for minute or two. switch off the fire.
- check the taste and add more salt, black pepper or soy sauce if required.
- serve the vegetable noodles with your favourite side dish or as it is.
- you can also serve the noodles with Gobi manchurian or veg Manchurian.
