make milk kesari recipe with kesar milk is a request made by friend long back while i was in sg, but till now i didn’t made it at home. I have made this kesari as neivedyam for god lakshmi on Varalakshmi Vratham. Anything with milk is very good for neivedyam .

LETS BEGIN THE STEP BY STEP RAGI KESARI RECIPE:
Add the saffron in warm milk and set asideAdd ghee in a pan and fry the cashews, once it turns golden brown take it out in a plate. Roast the rava in the same pan roast the rava if you are not using the roasted roasted. Now in a non-stick pan, add the milk and let it to boil.once the boiled well, add the saffron milk, cardamom powder and mix well.
Now add the roasted rava little by little,keep stirring continuously. Cover and cook till the rava cook well. Add the ghee and cover the Kesari with lid for a while so that we will get nice Kesari consistency.Once done add the cashews mix well. serve hot Kesari.
- ½ cup rava/semolina
- 1 cup Sugar
- 10 Cashews
- 3 tsp Ghee
- 3 cup milk
- A Pinch cardamom powder
- A small pinch saffron
