Peda recipe with step by step recipe + Video. Diwali sweet recipe, Instant Kesar Peda with the Milk powder, condensed milk, saffron & cardamom. Usually, Peda is offered as ‘prasad’ at festivals and occasions. There are various options, we can add elaichi to make elaichi peda, Kesar(saffron) peda, and Cocoa Powder for chocolate peda. I don’t have peda stamp with me so I used my moon cake mold to make this peda. You can use any mold or simple roll dough and keep pistachio or any nuts in the middle. Since Karva Chauth is tomorrow, I am sharing a recipe today along with Rich no onion no garlic thali. Managed to shoot a simple video while I made these beauties, Quickly check the short video below.

Recipe Card for Milk Peda recipe:
- 1 cup milk powder( i used Almarai milk powder)
- ⅓ cup Condensed milk
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 3 to 4 cardamom crushed
- 2 tbsp milk
- A pinch saffron
- Heat a pan on low flame, Let it to Melt, keep stirring for a min add ⅓ cup of condensed milk.
- Milk melted, now add the milk powder, mix well
- Soak a pinch of saffron in warm milk, add the milk into the pan & mix well
- Once we add the saffron milk it will become a smooth paste
- the mixture thickens and starts to separate from the pan
- add a tbsp ghee & cardamom powder, mix well
- Now we get a non-sticky dough almost in 5 mins
- switch off the stove
- let it cool down for five minutes ( not more than that, if not the mixture will become dry and it will be hard to make pedas)
- Apply some ghee on your palms, divide into a small equal portion of the mixture, and make a balls
- grease a mold or press, fill the mold with peda dough & press it
