As you guys know amma makes all Malaysian dishes as she lived in Malaysia for more than 15 years and my dad loves Nasi lemak. I too love the Malaysian Kueh and some snacks. Roti Jala is also one of my dad’s Favorite food that he likes to have it for Breakfast. It takes good with Chicken curry or any curry. As my blog is featuring vegetarian Food blog today I am sharing the recipe of Vegetarian Roti Jala and we had it with potato curry(will post soon). It’s little spicy curry and tastes well with Roti Jala.

Roti Jala Step By step Recipe:
Take plain flour and turmeric powder in a large bowl. Add salt. Add coconut milk and beat well, until smooth batter forms.
Add little water to make it thin batter. Strain batter to remove any lumps.
Brush little oil onto a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour a little batter into the roti Jala dispenser.
Move the dispenser in a circular motion over the pan to form a lacy pattern. Cook until set. This only takes about 2 minutes.
Slide crepe out of the pan onto a plate. Repeat until all batter is used up.
When cool enough to handle, fold in both sides of the crepe and roll to form a neat package.
Serve with your favorite curry.

- ⅓ tsp salt
- ⅓ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ cup coconut milk
- water as needed
