Aishu was asking me to make kit kat cake as she loves kit kat so a fusion of kit kat and oreo I made this kit kat cake with oreo sandwich. Let’s see how I made this cake.
Kit Kat cake recipe is very simple and no special tool or experience needed to make the kit kat cake but we should plan how to make a kit kat cake and what are all the thing you required to make this cake. Plan first how much kg cake you need. I made two 9′ inch Chocolate cake and in between, I have sandwiched the cake with oreo biscuits. I have used both chocolate frosting and vanilla frosting to make the kit kat cake colorful. Here I have given the required things to make the kit kat cake which I have made.
Things required to make the kit kat cake recipe,
- I have used a 9′ inch baking tin and made 2 layers chocolate cakes
- I have used both vanilla and chocolate frostings.
- I didn’t use any cake board I used a plate. If you want to use a cake board buy it.
- For sandwich, I have used 20 oreo biscuits approximately
- I have used 10, 45g packets of M&M
- I have used kit kat chunky, it little big in size and single fingers since we no need to break. do check the kit kat collections here before making the kit kat cake.
- Finally ribbon. I used a cloth rope to tie the cake so that the cake will set easily. Once I made the cake removed that cloth rope and tied the purple satin ribbon(my daughter’s favorite color)
How I made the kit kat cake recipe in detail with step by step pictures,
Step 1. Make 2 layers of cakes of your choice. I made chocolate cakes for the recipe you can check my chocolate cake recipe here. Make the cake and keep ready. To make the cake I have baked the cake mix in 9′ inch tin and then I cut it into 2 layers.
Step 2. Take a plate or cake board, apply frosting on it. Arrange the oreo biscuits and apply frosting again. Now keep a layer of chocolate cake on top of the frosting.
Step 3. Again repeat the step 2, sandwich the oreo biscuits and then frost it with cream.
Step 4. Drop some m&m inside the hole and close it with Oreo sandwich and then completely frost it with cream. arrange the kit kat on the sides it will stick with the cream. Using a rope tie it and set it in the fridge for an hour. Once the cake set drops some m&m on top and decorates it. Isn’t very simple? The kit kat cake is ready for the celebration.
