Baked Paneer Roll Recipe, Paneer Pull-apart Roll
Homemade Paneer Roll recipe with the detailed photo and video recipe. Paneer Pull-apart Roll is a tasty dinner roll like Garlic Pull Apart roll but with a twist of paneer stuffing inside and made with wheat flour. We can have the Galic roll with any curry or with the soups but the Paneer roll no need any special curry to serve with we can have it as it is like a snack. It very good for evening snacks with a cup of tea.
For this Paneer Pull-apart Roll or Paneer Roll Recipe, I have used 2 cups of plain flour and 2 cups of wheat flour. It’s good to add wheat flour instead of maida, we cannot expect more fluffy roll if we use wheat flour but still, it is soft and it is good for health. TotallI I have added 4 cups of flour, you can try half quantity of the recipe initially with maida or wheat. Once you have started making this you will not stop making it at home.
Let see the step by step Paneer Roll recipe,
Step:1 Yeast Proofing, Proofing the yeast is the very important step to be followed to activate the yeast and also to check the yeast is alive or not, so let’s prove the yeast before making the roll.
Add warm milk(not the hot milk) in a bowl, add the yeast and sugar mix well. Leave it for 10-15 mins. After 10 mins you can see that the yeast nicely form a creamy foam on top, it proves that the yeast is ready for making roll.
Step: 2 Dough Making,
Take 2 cups plain flour and 2 cups wheat flour or 4 cups of plain flour add salt and mix well. Now add the proved yeast mix and start kneading. You can add water little by little and knead it to a soft and pliable dough. Cling wrap it and leave it for 30-40 or until it double the quantity.
Step: 3 Make the Filling
Let the dough to rise meanwhile make the paneer filling, add the grated paneer in a bowl and add the chopped green chillies, salt, masala and lemon juice, mix everything well. Now check the dough once it becomes double in size take the dough down and punch it back to release the air and roll it like big chapati with rolling pin.
Now spread a layer of green chutney and then spread the paneer filling. Drop dates chutney all over the Paneer roll and start rolling it.
Divide it into equal sizes of paneer roll and arrange it in a greased pan or tin. Again cling wrap it and leave it for 30 mins and then bake it.
After 30 mins you can see the paneer roll have risen nicely. Now, bake it for 25 to 30 mins or until its done. Now the melt in mouth Baked panner buns is ready to serve.
