Easy for the kids to swallow.Dalia is known as Broken wheat in English and உடைந்த கோதுமை in Tamil. Wheat in any form is good for health. You know a fact if we take Dalia for 3 meal a day along with fruits we can lose up to 5 pounds in a week.

Step by Step Dalia Khichdi Recipe in Pressure Cooker:
- To make Dalia khichdi recipe for weight loss take less oil, you can take ghee it’s up to you. Take Oil or ghee add cinnamon stick and cloves fry it. Add onion and ginger garlic paste saute it. Add the tomatoes and green chilli fry well.
- Add the vegetables of your choice, if you are making Dalia Khichdi for weight loss skip using potatoes rest all vegetables you can use. Add the salt, chilli powder and mix well. If you are giving for kids try to skip chillies and chilli powder.
- We can make it in any pan. If you are making for kids make it in a pressure cooker for smooth and soft consistency.
- Now add the broken wheat that is Dalia in a pressure cooker and add water to it.
- Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles. Usually, 3 whistles are more than enough for the Dalia to cook but if you find water then close the lid again cook it for another 2 whistles. Hot Daliya Khichdi is ready.
