Coconut Chutney(கெட்டி சட்னி) Recipe | Side dish for idly dosai

Ketti Chutney
Coconut chutney is the one which goes well for idly and dosa. Ketti chutney is not too watery as like normal coconut chutney and no tempering is required.This is a wonderful side dish  for vadai, paniyaram and all kinds of bondas.Here i used dry red chillies but you can try with green chillies also.Do try this yummy chutney and enjoySmile.


Ingredients:

1 cup freshly grated coconut
3-4 Dry red Chilies(just according to your spice level)
2 tbsp roasted gram (pottu kadalai)
2 small onions,pealed
Salt as needed

Method:

Add the grated coconut,dry red chilies roasted gram,onions,salt into a mixie jar and grind it once without adding water first.Then scrap down the top and sides,add in water,grind it into a smooth paste.Don’t add too much water then the chutney become watery.No tempering is required,if you want to add then you can add.
