- 200 grams Cottage Cheese (Paneer), sliced lengthwise
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour (Maida)
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder (Kali Mirch Powder)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- Oil for shallow frying
- Take a big bowl and add sliced paneer, ginger garlic paste, lime juice, red chili powder and salt to it. Mix everything well and let it sit for 10 mins.
- In a small bowl, mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper powder with some water. Beat this to make a fine and thick paste.
- Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying. Next, dip a paneer piece in the paste and cover it with breadcrumbs. Repeat this for every paneer piece. Prepare this, keep it aside on a plate.
- Once the oil is sizzling hot, fry the paneer pieces until they are golden. Strain the extra oil and pat dry with tissue.
- Serve this deliciously tempting and crunchy snack hot.
