How many of you like the Restaurant style palak Paneer Recipe? I do follow that recipe like grinding onion and tomatoes and make a creamy texture of Paneer Gravy, Although its very easy method of making palak paneer, I personally feel that eating a spinach cream or keerai masiyal. Anyways My version doesn’t any cream or rich ingredients added so we can make it for dinner with simple soft Phulka.

How to make Palak Paneer Recipe in Dhaba style

Making palak paneer step: 1

  • blanch the palak with a tsp of sugar so that we can restore the green colour and then add it in cold water to avoid further cooking.
  • Add the palak in a mixie jar, add ginger, garlic, green chilli and grind it to a smooth paste.

Palak Paneer step: 2

  • Heat a pan and temper with cumin seeds, add the chopped onion and tomatoes and fry well, cover and cook till it becomes soft.
  • Add the salt, Punjabi garam masala and then add the palak paste mix well.
  • Add the cream or dahi finally serve with roti or with pulao.

Ingredients
  • To Grind:
  • 1 bunch fresh palak
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • To make palak Paneer We need:
  • 200g Paneer
  • ¾ cup onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Punjabi garam masala
  • 1 tbsp cream or Dahi for garnishing
