Paneer in White Gravy

Paneer in White Gravy:

Ingredients:

250 gms paneer cut into cubes
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp oil
3 green chillies
3/4 cup fresh curd
1 tsp ginger garlic paste/crushed
Few chopped coriander for garnishing
salt to taste

For Grinding:

1 tbsp broken cashew nuts
1 medium sized onion cut into medium sized pieces
1 tsp coriander seeds/fresh coriander leaves

Method:

Shallow fry the paneer in oil and keep aside.

Grind the Cashew nuts into fine paste with little bit of water first then grind the coriander seeds and onion along with it into fine paste.
Heat the oil in a kadhai and fry the cardamoms, cloves and bay leaf for 1/2 minute.Add the ginger garlic paste/crushed and green chillies and fry them for a while.
Churn the curds and add to the mixture. Add salt and cook on a slow flame.
Finally, add the paneer and cook for a few minutes,until becomes thick gravy.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve with hot rice/roti.
