Nannari Paal Sarbath is very famous in Ramanathapuram District/ Ramnad. Paal Sarbath Milk Sarbath Recipe Video Updated newly.This milk based drink is too good for summer which contains natural coolant.Hemidesmus indicus(nannari),is a species of plant that is found in South Asia. Nannari syrup is then extracted and used for making sarbath. This is well know drink in TamilNadu.

Recently we have been to Rameshwaram and got a change to taste this Paal Sarbath. Taste was awesome and they used the badam pisin an edible gum and also they served with various topping like icecream,tutti fuity,mango chunks etc.. I had the Paal sarbath with ice cream topping,no words to says.  Hot sun and Paal sarbath wonderful combo.
I decided to make it at home.Jii jil Jigarthanda madurai famous drink, which i have posted long back and it was loved by all our family members. Drinking lot of milk and juices keeps our cool and healthy ,especially on summer.

Yup,today’s recipe is also very healthy because i have used the nannari syrup,Chia Seeds,milk and Vanilla Ice Cream…Before going into the recipe wanted share with you about chia seeds ,its very good for health and you can get it in organic stores.Its also a natual coolant.
How to make your own chia drink
In a cup of warm water and add  3 tbsp of chia seeds. Stir well till the chia seeds are evenly dispersed and start to well.The next day, get your cup out of the frige.mix seed with your juice.
How to Make Nannari Paal Sarbath with ice cream :
You need: 
Milk as needed (Boiled and cooled)
chia Seeds/Badam pisin/Agar – just few crystals
Nannari syrup /Any Syrup of your wish
Ice cubes

Ice Cream (optional)

How Prepare Nannari Paal Sarbath:

  • Boil the milk without water ,let it cool for sometime.Soak Chia seeds a day before and make it ready.If you are using badam pisin ,soak it a day before and make it ready.Drain the water completely  and refrigerate it before use.To Prepare a glass of Nannari Paal Sarbat ,add a tbsp of prepared chia seeds.

  • Now add in a tbsp of Nannari sarbath or any syrup of your wishes.It’s not necessary that you need to add only the nannari syrup. You can add rose syrup or any other sarbath.But in the original recipe they will add sarbath for making paal sarbath. As the syrup contains the sweet taste you need not add sugar to it.

  • Now add in the cold milk, shake it using the shaker or give a nice stir with few Ice cubes.

You can use any edible gum of you choice like agar,chia seeds,badam pasin etc.
You can add any syrup like rose,nannari or any sarbath of your choice.
Add thick cold milk and few ice cubes ,to make the taste better.
