Carrot Sago Payasam
Today our blogger friend jeyashri celebrating her blog anniversary,i wanted to wish her through my blog.“Happy blog Anniversary Jeyshri”. I wanted to prepare a sweet for this celebration. So i prepared this “Carrot Sago Payasam”.Here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
2 carrot grated
1/2 cup sago
5 cardamom, powdered
10 cashewnuts
1 tsp ghee
1 tin condensed milk
Few saffron(optional)
Method:
Fry the cashewnuts in ghee and take it out .
Fry grated carrot in same ghee and keep aside.
Soak the sago for 10 mins and boil the sago with enough water in microwave high for 2 mins.If it doesn’t cook well keep somemore mins in the microwave.
Add the fried carrot, cardamom powder, milk into the cooked sago and boil the payasam until thick.
Once it becomes thick and sago ,carrot all cooked well , add saffron at the final stage(optional),if u want colour.if u dont want colour you can simply garnish with cashenuts and serve hot.
