Kway Teow
It’s a kind of flat noodles, available in all deparmental stores in singapore.I used to have this in chinese vegeterian restarant. But i prepare this in my own style. Here is the recipe…
Ingredients:
1 pck Kway teow (fresh flat noodles)
50g tofu
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
10g bean sprouts
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp tomato sauce
1/2 green bell pepper sliced
salt and white pepper as u needed
Method:
Keep the Kway teow in warm water for 5 mins before cooking and spit them using our hands.
Heat the oil in a wok,add the diced tofu and deep fry it.Once it fried nicely take it out from the oil and keep aside.
In same oil add the ginger garlic paste and add all the remaining ingredients including the sauces and the fried tofu, except the sliced green bell peppers.Stir-fry gently, allow noodles to get slightly charred in the wok,5-8 mins.
Finelly add the sliced green bell pepper.Stir Fry it for 2 mins.
Turn the heat off and transfer it into the serving plate.
Serve it with your favourite sauce while serving.
Iam sending this to Priya’s Lets Sprout Event
