This is my 100th Post, I would like to thank my family and my blogger friends, without them this is not possible. My special thanks to my dear friend Priya, she encouraged me to start this blog.Today iam going to share a singapore recipe, this i learned from my neighbour. It is very famous in singapore.Very easy and tasty recipe.
Ingredients:
300g pearl sago(wash, soak for 60 minutes & drain)
½ cup grated coconut
A pinch salt
160g sugar
2 Pandan leaves tied
2 tsp coconut milk
1 tsp Food colour(i used Pink)
Method:
Mix the grated coconut and salt well. Set aside.Wash the pearl sago and soak for 60 minutes and drain it.Mix the soaked pearl sago with sugar, food colour(optional) and coconut milk.Transfer it into a microwave safe bowl and add 2 cup of water and tied pandan leaves into it.Cook it for about 6 to 7 minutes high in microwave.Once it become very thick, takeout the leaf out and transfer it into a plate or mould.Let it cool for few mins.Cut into small pieces and roll the pieces in grated coconut.
If u doesn’t get the pandan leaf u can add your favourite essence.Adding colour is optional.
