Yes! This is my mom’s Recipe. She makes this often at home. Her favorite dish also. today is the first day of the weekday. Started with very dull and tired so made only rasam and Beans curry for my lunch and got refreshed and felt like had ammas food. Sitting here to write the recipe for Beans curry.
As I said earlier I love my veggies to be spicier but kids will not have spicy so whenever I prepare lunch for me I will make some spicy dish and have. Step by step Beans Curry recipe, Beans Fry recipe, South Indian Style Beans recipe with Coconut:
Clean the beans and cut it into medium-sized pieces, not small pieces which we cut for poriyal. Chop the onions finely. Heat a pan and add cinnamon stick and cloves. Add the chopped onions and beans saute well.
Add the turmeric powder, chili powder and salt, saute well. Grind the coconut with fennel seeds.
add little water grind to a smooth paste. Add the ground mix with the beans and add little water mix well. Let it cook. Once it becomes dry switch off the stove and transfers the beans fry into a serving bowl. Beans fry, beans curry is ready to taste.

- 1 medium size onion
- ⅓ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 2 tbsp coconut
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- ½ cup water
- salt as needed
