Pumpkin Payasam

Pumpkin Payasam:


Ingredients:

1/2kg Pumpkin(remove skin,cut and chop)

6 cups of water

1/2 cup of Sago (wash and drain)

1 1/2 cup Brown sugar

Pinch of salt

10 Cardamom seeds(powded)

Coconut cream 2tsp optional

Method:

Place Pumpkin and water in a heavy bottom vessel and cook until soft.Add in sago and cook,stirring
continuously to make sure it doesn’t stick together.Add sugar,salt and cardamom Powder and cook till
sugar dissolves and thick consistency is achieved.Remove from heat and refrigerate it for few mins.
Serve chill with coconut milk.
