Herbal Pizza


Ingredients for  Pizza Base:

2 1/2 cup Maida flour
2 3/4 tsp. baking powder (if using baking soda use half and omit salt)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
3/4 to 1 cup water
1/2 tsp Omum Powder

Ingredients for Toppings:

2  garlic chopped
20g Gratted Butter
2 Bittergourd cut into round shape
10g Tomatoes 
Few Mint leaves
3 tsp Honey
Salt a pinch
Onion 1 
Raw Herbs(Black Pepper,Cardamon,Coriander seeds)
Red chilly flakes.

Method of Preparation:

Mix dry ingredients. add 3/4 cup water and oil.
Stir until it forms a ball. If dough is stiff, add more water.

The dough will be soft, not sticky. Knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes.
Keep this mixture aside for about 3 -4 hours.
Once the dough become soft spread it in the pizza pan.
Put small holes in the dough so that the topping cooking properly.
Drop honey on the top of the pizza dough and then add butter.
Add the remaining toppings on the top of the butter.
Bake at 400°F for 15-25 minutes.

  3. This would be more of a ‘tart’ and a very good recipe too! Interesting use of bitter gourds; will defintely try this one!
