Sweet Sour Cauliflower
“My husband stated, “this is better than the restaurant~!”
Whenever I prepare noodles, I will prepare this Sweet Sour Cauliflower
as side dish. I love to add half cooked veggies more in my recipes to get the crunchy bites.
Ingredients:
½ Cauliflower cut into medium pieces
2 – 3 tsp light soy sauce
1/4-cup sugar
2 tsp ketchup
1/4 tsp ajinamotto
1/2-cup water or reserved pineapple juice
1/4 tsp vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 4 tsp of water
1 red chilli
1/2 cup green bell pepper
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
Boil the cauliflower into half cooked. Marinate it in soy sauce and cornstarch for 20 minutes.
Heat the pan and drop oil into it.
Fry chilli, green bell pepper in the oil and drop the marinated cauliflower with the sauce into it.
Cook this in low flame because the cornstarch will become thick soon.
Now add ketchup, sugar, ajinamotto, reserved pineapple juice, vinegar into it.
Once the sauce become thick serve it with noodles.
You can add tomatoes and pine apple into it, kids likes more.
