Rava Pongal
This is different from usual rice pongal but the taste is really yummy! It is very simple and easy to prepare.Kids love the taste and it is a very gud breakfast for them also.
Ingredients:
1 cup rava
1/4 cup moong dhal
3 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp black pepper corns
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
Method:
Pressure cook the moong dhal with enough water and keep aside.
Add the rava and fry it along with the fried mixtures. No need to deep fry, just fry for 1 min and switchoff the stove.
Add the moong dhal into the fried rava and mix it well and add salt at this stage, remember that all these can be done only the stove is in off ,else the lumps will be occured while mixing.

Hi kiran,
Thanks for ur comment,I pressure cook the moong dhal with enough water and added it into the rava.so no need for water. If u cook the dhal too thick then u can add a cup of water…
And also it is not just cooked in the heat of flame,i stop the flame to mix the dhal and the rava without lums. After mixing the rava and dhall again i on the stove into medium flame…
