Barley Porridge

Barley Porridge:

Ingredients:

1 cup barley
1 tbsp masoor dhal
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 tomato chopped
few fresh coriender leaves chopped
1/2 inch ginger chopped
4 cup water
salt

Method:

Soke the Barely about 4 hour before cooking.
Pressure cook the soked barley and masoor dhal together with water.Cook until the barley and lentils are tender.
Once it cooked nicely add the chopped tomatoes,coriender,ginger,garlic and salt in the pressure cooker.
Pressure cook it again,one whistle is enough to cook.Switch off the stove and transfer it into the serving bowl.

Here is the healthy Barley Porridge is ready to taste,

  2. Never know that barley can be consumed in a yummy way. during my first pregnency my mom used to cook barley and add lot of water to and give me to drink. It was quite horrible, This poridge looks yummy and healthy
