Uppu Seedai Recipe with Rice Flour
Krishna Jayanthi/Gokulashtami is around the corner. Make this uppu seedai for neivdayam and Enjoy Festival.
Happy Gokulashtami to all.
1 cup rice
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp jeera
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Step:1
Wash and soak the rice for about 30 minutes.Drain well and spread on a clean white cloth to dry for 10 minutes.Grind the rice in mixie until soft flour.Sieve the flour and keep aside.
Step:2
Grind the roasted gram dal in mixie ,sieve the flour and keep aside.
Step:3
Mix the rice flour,roasted gram flour,jeera,ghee,salt and make a soft dough using water.Make it into small balls and leave to dry on a clean cloth.Heat oil in a kadai and dry fry the seedai.Take it out and Store in airtight containers.
My fav…but havent got the courage to make them at home…urs look perfect
