Take 2 medium-sized vazhakkai, peel the skin and slice them into semi-thick slices, not too thin or thick, and place them in a bowl of water to prevent oxidation.
Take 3 tbsp freshly grated coconut, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chili powder, and 1/2 tsp salt.
Add 1/4 cup of water and grind it to a smooth paste. Add the ground masala to the banana, Mix well.
let it sit for 15 mins. After 15 mins, Heat a pan with 2 tbsp oil, fry the banana, cover, and cook on low to medium flame for 5 mins then fry without covering for a few more mins, to get an even golden color, stir in between.
Once it becomes gold and crispy. Turn off the heat and transfer the Vazhakkai Varuval/ Raw Banana Roast to a serving bowl and serve hot
