Ingredients
  

  • 1 TSP chana dal
  • 1 tsp Urad Dal
  • 2 red chilies
  • 2-3 kashmiri chilies
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat a tsp of Oil in a pan/kadai. Add 1 tsp urad dal, 1 tsp chana dal, roast on low flame.
  • Add 2 red chilies, 2 to 3 Kashmiri chilies, roast it. Add 2 tomatoes diced roast it.
  • Let it cool down and then add it to a mixie jar and grind it to a fine paste. That's it Tomato chutney is ready to serve!
  • Finally add the Tadka and Mix well.

Notes

  1. Adjust the spice level according to your tastebuds.
  2. Kashmiri Chilies give nice bright red color and good quantity, so don't skip them.
  3. use nice red ripe tomatoes or you can add a small piece of tamarind too.
