HOTEL STYLE CORIANDER CHUTNEY(HOTEL KOTHAMALLI CHUTNEY)

- 1/2 cup freshly grated Coconut
- 1 Bunch Fresh Coriander Leaves(kothamalli Thazhai)
- 3 Green Chilies
- A Small blueberry sized Tamarind
- Pinch turmeric powder(for colour)
- 1/4 cup Ice Water(for grinding)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Take a clean mixie jar add 1/2 cup of freshly grated coconut, 3 green chilies,a small blueberry sized tamarind, Fresh coriander leaves 1 bunch, a pinch turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt.
Add 1/4 cup of Ice water and grind it to a fine paste
Transfer to a bowl Corinader Chutney is now ready to serve!
Finally add tadka and mix well.
- Adding turmeric powder gives nice bright green color to the chutney don't skip it.
- Grinding with ice water or ice will retain the green color for a long also some mixie will produce heat, and because of that, the chutney turns dark green. so add ice water for grinding.
