HOTEL STYLE CORIANDER CHUTNEY(HOTEL KOTHAMALLI CHUTNEY)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Coconut
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Coriander Leaves(kothamalli Thazhai)
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • A Small blueberry sized Tamarind
  • Pinch turmeric powder(for colour)
  • 1/4 cup Ice Water(for grinding)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a clean mixie jar add 1/2 cup of freshly grated coconut, 3 green chilies,a small blueberry sized tamarind, Fresh coriander leaves 1 bunch, a pinch turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt.
  • Add 1/4 cup of Ice water and grind it to a fine paste
  • Transfer to a bowl Corinader Chutney is now ready to serve!
  • Finally add tadka and mix well.

Notes

  1. Adding turmeric powder gives nice bright green color to the chutney don't skip it.
  2. Grinding with ice water or ice will retain the green color for a long also some mixie will produce heat, and because of that, the chutney turns dark green. so add ice water for grinding.
