How to make Gulab Jamun using Instant Gulab jamun mix

  • 100g gulab jamun mix
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • oil/ghee for frying
  • for sugar syrup
  • 250g sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ tsp cardamom
  • few drops rose water
  1. Take 1 cup water boil it. Into the Boiling water add 250g sugar(i used Brown Sugar). Add ¼ tsp cardamom powder, few drops of rose water. Once the water turns the sticky switch off the stove.
  2. I took 100g Instant Gulab jamun Mix, Sieve it. There are a lot of milk solids that will be there to sieve it before use. Add 3 to 4 tbsp milk. Add it little by little and mix it.
  3. The dough will be sticky don't get panic. This is the right consistency. After mixing dough rest it for 15 mins. After 15 mins grease your hand and roll it into crack-free balls.
  4. Heat oil or ghee fry the balls. Add in batches and fry in medium flame. Keep rolling the balls until they turn golden. Once it turns golden remove it from oil.

  6. Step: 4 drops the fried Jamun into the sugar syrup. Let them soak overnight or at least 5 hours. Gulab Jamun is ready!
For 100g packet, we will get 10 to 15 gulab jamuns.
