Veg Fried rice made with Brown rice, Low Carb recipe

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp chopped spring onion
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables
  • ⅓ cup green peas
  • 5-8 mushrooms diced
  • 1 cup basmati rice(uncooked)
  • 1& ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • spring green for garnishing
  1. Cook 1 cup of Brown Basmati rice with ½ tsp salt on an open pot method
  2. drain the water completely and then spread it on a plate and let it cool down completely.
  3. Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil, add 3 tbsp chopped garlic, 3 tbsp chopped spring onions saute well.
  4. Add 1 cup of chopped veggies, like carrot beans, green pieces, and 6 mushrooms diced. Saute well.
  5. Add 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp soya sauce mix well. Don’t cook the veggies for long and always saute in High flame.
  6. Add rice saute for 3 mins in high flame and then switch off the stove.
Cook the rice in open pot method to remove the excess starch
add more veggies and reduce the rice quantity to make it healthy
add saute in high flame
Dont overcook the vegetables
