Kurkuri Bhindi recipe, crispy spicy okra (baked)

- 250 grams okra/Vendaikkai/Bhindi, choose long ones
- 3 tbsp besan/Kadalai Maavu/gram flour
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp turmeric/Manjal Thool
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp oil/Ennai
- salt, to taste
- Wash the okra/Bhindi.dry the okra in a towel. Once dried, cut each okra into 4 slices.
- Then add in besan, garam masala, turmeric, chaat masala, and red chili powder.
- Then add the oil.
- Add little water and make a thick paste.
- Add the sliced okra into the bowl. Toss everything together.
- rest the mixture for 10 minutes.
- Line a large baking tray with aluminum foil. Then spray the foil nicely with oil.
- Then arrange all the coated okra slices on the baking sheet. Bake at 400-degree f for 20 to 30 minutes until brown and crisp.
- Then remove the tray from the oven and let it sit for 5 more minutes.
- Transfer to a serving plate, you can squeeze lemon juice or sprinkle some more chaat masala.
- Serve Kurkuri bhindi as an appetizer or a side to any dish.
