Crispy masala kadalai recipe in an oven. Guilt-free snacks with less oil

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Verkadalai(raw peanuts)
  • 3 tbsp Besan flour(kadalai Mavu)
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour(arisi mavu)
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp snuff powder(sombu thool)
  • 2 tsp oil
  • water(optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. soak the Verkadalai(raw peanuts) in water for 10-15 mins. Take a mixing bowl add the kadalai mavu(gram flour), Arisi mavu(rice flour), turmeric powder, Snauf Powder(sombuthool) and salt mix well. Add the soaked peanuts without water and then mix well with the masala. Add oil and mix well. If the masala doesn't coat well with the peanut we can sprinkle a tbsp of water and mix again.
  2. Spread the masala kadalai (peanuts) in the greased baking tray and spread well.
  3. Sprinkle some Sesame Seeds and mix well with the masala kadalai. Once done we can deep fry the Masala Kadalai or We can microwave it or Bake in an oven.
  4. Here I have baked in an oven for 15 mins. Once it turns golden and crispy removed it from the oven and let it cool down.
  5. Crispy and crunchy masala kadalai is ready to serve. We can have it for the evening snacks with simple chai or tea.
