  7. How to make Dahi Vada,
  8. Make vada first, you can grind the batter in a mixie. soak the urad dal for 1 hour and then grind it to a smooth batter. Put salt and make ready. Make small balls and deep fry it in oil. Drain the oil and take it out. But in South Indian version we usually make vada by dropping a hole in the middle. Once you make the Vada Soak it in water for ½ hr to remove the excess oil and also the vada become softer if we soak it.
  9. Beat the Curd nicely and then pour it over the soaked vada, some people will add little sugar while beating the curd if you want mild sweet then add sugar otherwise skip it.
  10. Add the Green chutney little on top while serving.
  11. Add tamarind Chutney little on top while serving.
  12. Sprinkle little chilly powder on top while serving. I use Kashmiri chilly for garnishing.
  13. finally sev. Sev gives you nice crunchy taste. I have used the Nylon Sev for garnish.
  14. Dahi Vada garnishing is not limited you can add coriander leaves and as per your wish adjust the amount of chutney.
  15. Very tempting and delicious Dahi Vada is ready to serve.
