- 2 tbsp tamarind Extract/ a lemon sized seedless tamarind
- 8-10 seedless dates
- ⅓ cup grated jaggery
- 1 and ½ cup water
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp chilly powder
- salt
- In a pan, add tamarind, dates and water.Boil it for 10 mins or till the dates become soft.Add in the jaggery and continue to cook.
- Once the mixture started thicken add the red chilly powder ,cumin powder, and salt, mix well.
