Ingredients
½ cup rice flour(ready made idiyappam flour)
1 cup water(approximaetly)
1 tsp sesame oil
salt as needed(check the ingredients of the idiyappam flour if salt is added skip adding
⅓ cup thick coconut milk or 50g coconut powder
½ cup Milk + 1 cup water
2 pinches cardamom powder
Instructions
bring to boil the water,sesame oil and salt in pan just for 1 minute and then switch off the stove.
Now add the rice flour little by little. Using the spatula or a wire wishk mix continuously without
lumps.
Once the dough become soft and non sticky,stop mixing it. Now the Kozhukattai dough is ready.
Keep covered and take your convenient portions little by little and make tiny balls of desired size.
Steam the balls in ildy cooker and set aside.
Now add the ½ cup milk and 1 cup water boil well and then add in the coconut milk or coconut powder.
Add cardamom powder,sugar and mix well.
Drop the balls slowly into the milk and let it boil for few minutes.now the paal kozhukattai is ready to serve.
